I’m Ali J, a professional photographer based in Nottingham, working across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland and the wider East Midlands. I specialise in natural, storytelling photography for people, events and organisations. From wedding photography in Nottingham and family photography across the East Midlands to concert and live music photography, my focus is always on capturing real moments with honesty, warmth and clarity.

I work extensively outdoors and on location, making the most of natural light and real environments. This includes outdoor weddings, school events, festivals and location-based corporate photography.
I’m based in Nottingham and regularly work throughout Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland, as well as the wider East Midlands. I also travel further afield for weddings, festivals and specialist projects.
